In June 2020, during a season of change, my husband and I prayerfully asked God – Now what can we do for your Kingdom?
Keep sharing the gospel kept pressing upon our hearts – which we were eager to continue in God’s commandment to partner with the Holy Spirit in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
Then the thought came to create a tool to use to point precious souls to the saving gospel and in the direction of Christian discipleship and fellowship. So we created business card size tracts as a simple way to hand to people to lead them to this website. We pray that each person will understand and rightly respond to the gospel – by God’s grace – as well as learn how to follow Jesus.
We asked one of our daughters what to name this evangelistic tool. She eagerly replied, “His love Restores!” Then we thought of the song – Love Restores – by Shine Bright Baby:
Are you desperate, for someone to hear your voice
You’ve been reaching, but you can’t get through the noise
Don’t give up now, there is hope for you
Are you searching, for a Savior for a friend
You’ve been hurting, you’re about to reach your end
Don’t give up now, there is hope for you
His love restores, His words are true
What this world breaks, His hands make new
So do not fear, not anymore,
He can heal what’s broken and torn
His love restores, His love restores
Are you praying, for an answer for a cure
You’ve been waiting, for a miracle that’s yours
God is with you, wherever you are
He is holding, onto your heart
His love restores, His words are true
What this world breaks, His hands make new
So do not fear, not anymore,
He can heal what’s broken and torn
His love restores
Nothing, nothing, nothing is impossible
No one, no one, no one is unreachable
Nothing is impossible
His love restores, His words are true
What this world breaks, His hands make new
So do not fear, not anymore,
He can heal what’s broken and torn
His love restores, His words are true
What this world breaks, His hands make new
So do not fear, not anymore,
He can heal what’s broken and torn
He can heal what’s broken and torn
His love restores, His love restores
So that is how His Love Restores was birthed![1]
Whether we are at a store, restaurant, standing in line, on a stroll at the beach, etc., we try to build a bridge with those we interact with and prayerfully hand each person a His Love Restores tract.
If you are on this website because of taking a card that was handed to you or by some other way – THANK YOU!!!
We pray you are blessed as you learn of the loving restoration that is only found through Jesus Christ (1 Peter 5:10, Acts 3:19-21, Joel 2:25-26, Psalm 23:3, Psalm 51:12, Jeremiah 30:17) – Jesus’s love truly does restore what happened yesterday, what happens today and what will happen tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8)!!!
