Biblical counseling has helped me so much reorient my thoughts back to God and truth. It’s taught me that I don’t have to listen to my thoughts, I can take them captive and make them obedient to Christ. Teresa walked me through so many helpful tools and exercises to do so that will be so helpful for the rest of life.
It has helped me to realize that I don’t have to be a slave to fear and anxiety. Jesus has paid it all! She is so gracious and patient and passionate about the Lord, and her heart is so clearly to show Christ and make Christ known, to point to Him always, and I have learned so much about God and who He is from her guidance and help. And I continue to learn and grow from the lessons she taught me.
My walk with Christ has been so much more intentional and I feel God has opened my eyes to new truths and understanding since biblical counseling. I am also so grateful for how Theresa continually points me to Jesus, reminds me of His love, goodness and faithfulness.
